Presentation
The ESART Bachelor’s degree in Start-Up and Business Development is a RNCP-registered qualification, Level 6, aimed at transforming creative or analytical profiles into true business builders. The programme’s objective is not only to learn how to manage an existing company but also to create value where it does not yet exist.
This programme is ideally suited to the needs of professionals responsible for entrepreneurial promotion, who seek creative, passionate, curious, and motivated collaborators.
The ESART Bachelor’s degree enables students to be highly operational from their first professional experience or to continue their studies at a Bac+4/5 level. Courses, lectures, masterclasses, and business games are delivered by professionals who are experts in their fields.

This Bachelor’s degree is professionally oriented and therefore leads directly to employment. You also have the opportunity to enrol in the first year of a Master’s degree programme.
Programme Objectives
The ESART Bachelor’s degree in Start-Up and Business Development is a state-recognised Level 6 qualification that aims to achieve the following objectives:
Learn to identify real-world problems and design innovative solutions
Know how to quickly test a concept with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to validate the market without excessive expenditure
Adopt flexible working methods (Scrum, Kanban) to pivot rapidly if necessary
Identify and approach key partners or clients
Master the art of B2B (Business to Business) sales and contract negotiation
Use marketing and technological techniques to achieve rapid growth at low cost
Know how to model future profitability
Manage cash flow and the rate at which funds are consumed
Prepare fundraising rounds (Seed, Series A) and persuade Business Angels
Learn to view failure as a learning step
Know how to recruit and unite a team around a shared vision in an uncertain environment
Be capable of moving from marketing to accounting or legal matters within a single day

- 3 years for students holding a Baccalaureate or an equivalent qualification
- Work-study programme available from the third year onwards

ENTRY LEVEL(S)
Baccalaureate and Bac+2
Prerequisites: The Bachelor in Start-Up and Business Development at ESART is open to holders of a baccalaureate qualification and, for entry into the third year, to holders of a BTS or any other Level 5 qualification.
Admission is based on the review of the application file and may include an interview.
Teaching Methods and Assessment
Assessment Methods: Case studies and/or tests and/or essays and/or text analyses and/or multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and/or oral assessments and/or research projects / Continuous assessment / Work-study and competency evaluation (written + oral) / Thesis defence / Professional evaluation in the company

Access deadlines
- Applications for the September 2025 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2025.
- Applications for the deferred January 2026 intake remain open until 18 December.
Modalities
Access to our programmes may be initiated:
- By the employer,
- At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
- By a student or their legal guardian
- Work-study is available from the third year onwards
Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.
If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.
